Empowerment is the process of obtaining basic opportunities for underprivileged people, either directly by those people who share their own access to these opportunities, or through the help of non-Profit Organization. Empowerment also includes encouraging, and developing the skills for, self-sufficiency, with a focus on eliminating the future need for charity or welfare in the individuals of the group. This process can be difficult to start and to implement effectively.

If women were empowered to do more and be more, the possibility for economic growth becomes apparent. Women’s Empowerment educates and empowers women, who are homeless, with the skills and confidence necessary to secure a job, create a healthy lifestyle, and regain a home for themselves and their children. This woman’s empowerment training and awareness event we do with NGO – Thozhamai. In this training the woman aware and know their worth and value. Through this project we make them to know and understand the woman’s rights and values. “If you educate a man, you educate a man”, “if you educate a woman, you educate a generation”.

Our life is an odd mixture of different moments of action and inaction, work and rest. Work provides us with an inner creative joy. It puts our energies to a proper use. Unused energies create disorders in us. It provides us with money for our life hood. It makes our life meaningful and peaceful. The man’s capacity will judge based on his qualification and job profile. Where there is no need, there would be no work. Where there is no work, there would be no joy in life.
